Kansai International Academy has nine campuses in Kansai and six in Tokyo. The Kobe campus is a CIS (Council of International Schools) accredited school that offers the complete IB continuum of programs for kindergarten through high school. Kansai International Academy is uniquely bilingual with half of the offered subjects taught by English speaking teachers and half by Japanese speaking teachers. We are currently looking for a Secondary English Language Arts teacher for the MYP program at the Kobe Campus. We welcome highly motivated, qualified, and experienced candidates with knowledge of the IB philosophy and a willingness to collaborate with other teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for MYP English classes as well as other English classes such as TOEFL classes.

Qualification and Experience:
・Bachelor's degree in English Teaching (Secondary School)
・A teaching certificate from your home country (or another English-speaking country)
・Teaching experience in a cross-cultural environment (preferred)
・Teaching experience with students whose English is not their mother tongue (preferred)
・Teaching experience in an IB school (preferred)
Work hours will generally be weekdays from 8:20 am to 5 pm. Transportation will be compensated up to 25,000 yen per month. All employees at KIA are eligible for social insurance and paid holidays.
